Things to Remember: Your body is amazing and your baby is resilient. There is no better mom in this world for your baby than you. Your baby needs the best version of you. taking some you time is not selfish, its selfless. You were made for this. Ask for help or at least accept it when offered It’s ok to be selfish about holding your baby, They are YOUR baby. Take it slow - you have our permission :)
Things to Buy: Magic Shusher, Sound Machine, Red Light , 5 Second Sleepea Swaddle, Bathtub or sink insert, Nail grinder, newborn baby Clothes - no matter what anyone says your baby will wear them for at least a bit, waterproof mattress protector for your bed, diapers, wIpes, bassinet with sheets, boon trove milk collector, nipple cream with silverette cups
Things to Do: soak up the newborn smell and snuggles, take a nap whenever your body tells you that you need it, try out the baby swing, use the Baby Carrier for contact naps while you take a walk or do things around the house (Moby easy wrap is my favorite!), try to get out of the house once a day, even if only for a walk.
Sleepytime for Baby
All things sleep for newborn and infant. The most used and best: sound machines, swaddles, pacifiers.
